   No, guinea pig food is alfalfa based. You want timothy hay base.

   we use Nature’s Recipe vegetarian recipe for their protein and ox bow bunny T for their food and as much as they want of timithy hay. Just make sure there is no alfa it turns to sugers.

   @multicenterstage I can’t find the puppy formula vegetarian food, only the adult. Will that work? Also, what’s your opinion on the exotic pets food for prairie dogs?

   Do you know of any successful breeders in the Houston, Tx. area? I read where they rarely breed in captivity. Is this true? I just got a 2 yr. old male nd would like to find an older female, or at least mature enough to live with him

    Brand JR Farm has special food for PD. It is a great branch and high quality. Great for PD. It is the one I use.
